Yeah, I never understood why the Beautiful Bulldog story gets picked up by every media outlet in the country. Even NPR mentioned it this morning.
This year's winner is owned by a Drake law student. It's good to see someone with Drake connections win the award.

I will be heading back for the 100th edition. If anyone wants to hunt me down, I'll likely be in the last row of the stands near the starting line for the saturday afternoon events (or send me a private message in next day or two and I can give my cell#). I'm pretty easy to spot.
Saturday morning I'll be pounding the pavement for 13 miles...feel free to come out and cheer someone from DN representin'. Make sure you have a giant spatula ready to slide my sorry carcass off the road when I go down for the count around mile 4. 
Look forward to seeing any/all of you if opportunity permits.

| | Did anyone else catch Lolo win the 60m hurdles at the 2010 World Track and Field Championships? I caught it last night about midnight on NBC's HD Sports Channel. The announcers kept saying "Lolo's back, Lolo's back!". Don't know when it took place (in Quatar), but she looked great. She left everyone in the dust!! She looked great in her track oufit, too!!! |
