Over the years I have contributed generously (relative to my means )to both Drake athletics and the university at large.
I am extremely disappointed in the current plight of the Drake Track team and the Drake Relays.I hold the head track coach and relays director as responsible for this downward slide.It doesn't make any sense to me to blindly support leadership for which I hold little faith.Until there is regime change I would rather contribute to the library fund

Pretty cold there Dipper. Any info to share? Specifics of opportunities missed? Anything that can be laid at someone's feet? Anything that can be corrected if the unwashed masses knew what/wasn't going on? |

I've been away -competing in the Amazon Basin Anaconda Kicking Contest- 7th place !!
I didn't respond to your last post because I feel that we will never agree on the quality of the track and field coaching staff -Why beat a dead horse or for that matter- kick another conda ?

Who said it's a dead horse? I wanted to know the source and standard by which you state the current program, well, sucks. It's not like Drake track has glory years for which to compare. Individual stars are the exceptions that prove the mediocrity rule. But if you prefer the rainforest, take a net. |
