Wichita Eagle writer Paul Sullentrop wrote this year's Athlon MVC preview. He doesn't give any analysis on his blog ("you will have to buy the magazine to get the whys." Prack) but he gives his predicted ranking:

3. Illinois State
4. Drake
5. Northern Iowa
6. Bradley
7. Wichita State
8. Indiana State
9. Evansville
10. Missouri State

| But, seriously ...... SIU and Ill. State are over-rated. Bradley is under-rated, I'm afraid. Some of them guys can play, as long as they're eligible.

| Those must be the "fun" rankings. The Bulldogs and their fans will rank very high nationally in that category. With UNI's problems, I don't think we'll finish dead last. And I hope that last comment doesn't mess up he karma.
