Gentleman....

This win is just the first in a long string of what is ahead for Drake Football....Yes it was unimpressive....This is the start

You will soon see and learn just how terrific Coach Creighton is. I am a Drake Alum 76'. My son has played the last three yaers for Coach Creighton at Wabash so I am well acquainted with him. You have truly a very special Man in your midst.

I will be following Drake football quite closely now. I did not know I could get it on the radio? Where? I did watch the Play by play on the computer. I will not make any games this year as I will be traveling to all the Wabash games....but next year I will be there for some live games.

Best Wishes for a truly great season!!!

Sounds like a tough loss at Butler. Drake will get better and better under Creighton and Company. You can bank on it. He will recruit in an amazing way as well. Time to buy the stock is now...all you can buy. The program will be rising guaranteed.

Coach Creighton & company, I'm not impressed at all. If not for a TD off a fumble we'd be 1-4.

You sure make the dad of a redshirt feel good and look forward to what lies ahead, but man is it hard to watch now. Coming from Kansas City, I know all about young teams and rebuilding as that is all we hear from the Chiefs and Royals.

We all know that most things tend to work out in the end, it's just getting to the end that's so dang hard.

I'm sorry I sound so negative, personaly I think we have a lot of talent on this team. Look at what the team did with a make shift coaching staff last year.

There are problems the coaches are creating on the O. Cashmore has a good 1st half and than doesn't touch the ball in the second. Oliver looks good in a game then they don't use him hardly at all.

In the San Diego post XUClassic explains the problems with the D. Which I agree with, having seen 4 games myself.

Lastly to say these coaches will recruit better. I'm sceptical at best.

The following posts were found on this website.....Creighton recruits like no other....When I said rising gauranteed....keep in mind he took over a program that was not top flight....He brings in a new O a new D and many players may not want to work with Creighton's program. He will recruit the players that want to Win and will work to get there...and I mean work hard.

Listened to Coach Creighton speak tonight at the annual "Corn Feed"....by the end of his talk, I was ready to run through a brick wall....very inspirational guy.

No need to run through the wall. Call a half roll and throw over it.

The word impressive doesn't justify how I felt after he spoke. OMG! OK? Drake needs to get him on TV to talk about Drake football and no doubt attendance will quadruple out of the gate. If I were a coach for any other athletic program at Drake .. I'd make him a big friend because after he talks to a potential recruit, I think any athlete in the country could land at Drake. Obviously, you think Creighton is great. Remember being a good speeker has nothing to do with coaching or recruiting. I found Creighton's D & O system very basic. Also you know little of Drake football. In bad years we play 500 ball.

Being able to speak and recruit is all part of it. Not having talent sit on the bench and not moving players around is also part of it. Let's make this a no field goal Saturday. Get this offense used to scoring touchdowns and it should ignite.
