| A quick update on Larson from an article on Rivals/HawkeyeReport from this morning. -
""I think Iowa is close to offering," said Cody Larson, who attends the same high school that produced Wisconsin star Joe Krabbenhoft." I hadn't talked to them a whole lot before this summer, so I am not real familiar with them, but I am planning to visit there this fall and they are close enough to home."
"Larson says he currently holds offers from Drake, Wisconsin-Green Bay, Colorado State, and Nebraska, with Iowa and Gonzaga showing enough interest to indicate that they may be close to offering. This fall, Larson plays to visit both Iowa and Gonzaga and he hopes to come home with a scholarship offer from both schools."
"I want to find a place that is the best fit for me," he said. That is the most important thing in my mind. Joe Krabbenhoft's advice to me was to take my visits, be patient, and you will find the best school for you. That is what I plan to do."

| Just imagine what the recruiting class would look like with a headliner big added to the four already. And just for the sake of comparison, how do the 4th and 5th (possible?) signees look vs. Armel, Worner, Vlastuin, White, Bayrenbruch, et al. don't you love it that the "good old days" are the now days?

| Larson is signing with the Gators. The Register and Argus Leader both report this. The comments section on the Argus Leader still arguing over what he did to get suspended.
Sorry about being inept on the link |

Coach Phelps has an eye for talent. When is the last time that players that Drake was after ended up signing with schools like Florida and UConn? Prior to the current coaching staff, a lot of the DU players had no D-1 offers other than Drake.

| Good thing we failed on this kid. We've been on police blotter enough already.
Argusleader headline: Standout athlete Cody Larson accepts deal in Fla. criminal case
Larson faced charges of misdemeanor trespassing after he was arrested in April in St. Augustine, Fla. Larson allegedly tried to break into a car along with teammate Erik Murphy.
Jail time in Sioux Falls is still possible for Larson, who received a 120-day suspended jail sentence and two years of probation last spring for sharing prescription painkillers with a Roosevelt teammate.
Here's link, but I'm sure I will fail!
