That would be sweet if Leonard played for the Energy. I think he has the potential to become an NBA player.

I don't really care who plays for the Iowa Energy, but I'm assuming it is either Darrin Daphney or Terry Benka.

I remember an old(er) ex-military guy that Ortegel signed toward the end of his tenure....Charlie Nichols.....he was a pretty good player, but suffered a head injury that basically ended his career. Not sure if that's who were thinking of.

Maybe with Napoleon Gaither IV attending Drake this fall, his dad (Napoleon Gaither III) is moving back to play for the Energy.

I know the suspense is killing me.

Since most Drake fans aren't really big fans of the Energy, I figure it has to be someone from a rival school that Drake will no longer have to deal with. Did P'Allen decide to jump ship and test the waters in the "big" leagues? Or Eldridge for that matter? That would make me happy.

If it is a Bulldog, can you image watching Terdwell's head spin and explode as he actually has to say something nice about Drake. Keita44, here's hoping it's you.

Tomorrow has arrived and the sun is up.

Really Big Bulldog (6/10/2008)

He apparently likes playing the "I know something that you don't" game.....too bad that most Drake fans don't care at all about the Iowa Energy.

On the military guy question, I'm gonna go with Donahue Kinsey, but he was an Abatemarco guy if I remember correctly.

Here's the big announcement:

Iowa Energy enter affiliation with NBA's Suns

Aren't we all big Phoenix Suns fans?

Does that mean Shaq will be sent to Des Moines for a "rehab" assignment early next year until he gets in shape?
That'd be the ONLY reason I would go see the energy play, having an actual NBA All-Star, like O'Neal or Nash.

Also who was that guy that played for Rudy that was like 5'3"?
