| The Energy are getting ready to announce a signing that will make us Drake fans happy....
I know who it is, you guys want to guess?
Question: How do we play better?

| That would be sweet if Leonard played for the Energy. I think he has the potential to become an NBA player.

Am I getting warm yet?
So DU, I've been trying for several weeks to remember the name of that guy who played for Garner in the mid 8o's who was like 28 years old and had been in the military before starting college. Great defender.
I don't really care who plays for the Iowa Energy, but I'm assuming it is either Darrin Daphney or Terry Benka.

I remember an old(er) ex-military guy that Ortegel signed toward the end of his tenure....Charlie Nichols.....he was a pretty good player, but suffered a head injury that basically ended his career. Not sure if that's who were thinking of.
Maybe with Napoleon Gaither IV attending Drake this fall, his dad (Napoleon Gaither III) is moving back to play for the Energy.
I know the suspense is killing me.

| | Since most Drake fans aren't really big fans of the Energy, I figure it has to be someone from a rival school that Drake will no longer have to deal with. Did P'Allen decide to jump ship and test the waters in the "big" leagues? Or Eldridge for that matter? That would make me happy. |

| If it is a Bulldog, can you image watching Terdwell's head spin and explode as he actually has to say something nice about Drake. Keita44, here's hoping it's you.
3 in a Row: 2007, 2008, 2009. Let's make it 4! |

| Really Big Bulldog (6/10/2008) So, who is it, for crissake?
He apparently likes playing the "I know something that you don't" game.....too bad that most Drake fans don't care at all about the Iowa Energy.

| On the military guy question, I'm gonna go with Donahue Kinsey, but he was an Abatemarco guy if I remember correctly.

| Does that mean Shaq will be sent to Des Moines for a "rehab" assignment early next year until he gets in shape?
That'd be the ONLY reason I would go see the energy play, having an actual NBA All-Star, like O'Neal or Nash. |

I know the suspense is killing me.
No. That's not the guy. He played for Garner. Walter James made me think of him. I think he was a JC transfer. 6'4"?
Also who was that guy that played for Rudy that was like 5'3"?
