| Academic Progress Rate (APR) Scores
The NCAA released these scores Tuesday. They cover the academic years 2003-04 through 2006-07. The APR measures retention, eligibility and graduation of athletes at Division I schools. It is designed to be a more current assessment of academic performance than graduation rates.

| Drake's number looks okay. I wonder if the coaching change(s) will cause problems.
What happens to PFL schools that don't meet the APR standards? I think the punishment for a low APR is loss of scholarship and postseason ban, but that's not really applicable in the PFL.

| Most JU students are Yankees (e.g. my sister, who attended for two years), but most of their football players are from Florida. I bet the New Jersey kids are making the same jokes. 
To be fair, Davidson is also a southern school. |
