| I know where I got it, and it wasn't a message board. We won't have to wait long for it to be rep....eh, wait...
I was about to say something about the Des Moines Register. Never mind. |

| Kareem Richardson's UMKC Bio
He's a bit of a job hopper. He coached at five schools in 11 years. He even transferred as a player. Before spending a year at UMKC, he coached four years at Evansville (his longest coaching stint) and apparently lost his job when Merfeld was fired. Maybe he wants to come back to the MVC and settle down for a bit.

| Why does the thought of a recruiter from Evansville give me heartburn?
Let Bill play. |

Because everything gives you heartburn?
Talent wasn't the problem at Evansville when he was there. |

| Whether Evansville was or was not lacking talent, it's not as if he is replacing Bill Self in terms of recruiting.
This season, people were focusing on the walk-ons Drake was able to get, and the great job of recruiting they did to get them. If I remember right, none of the coaches were even in the state when Emmenecker was convinced to go there. Also, why was it necessary to start these walk-ons? It was necessary because most of the recruits that were brought in on scholarship were much worse. Remember, Chris Davis was one of the architects of the very successful Kanaskie years.
I am not saying that this guy would be better than Chris Davis. Chris Davis turned out to be a big help. But, if you evaluated Chris's resume before Dr. Tom got there, it would have looked even worse than Kareem Richardson's. |

| Well, I'm absolutely delighted that we've gotten to the point where we are now comparing whose resume is worse. Things are looking up.
Let Bill play. |

| | Evidently hiring a staff is a very difficult thing to do these days. |
