| Sure, people talk about it, as in "it would be nice if Drake had a baseball team." I think the lack of facilities and the cold climate prevent any serious discussion. Maybe that would change if a deep pocketed donor would step up to finance the team.

| Looks like Rich got a really good pitcher in Brynne Dordel. That's great.
Great to see Marilyn Buss playing so well, too. Although, not much else for hitting.
One good pitcher is plenty to make a run in the Valley, though.

Softball win over Iowa in 12 innings yesterday is classic.
Too bad media didn't catch it.
Tough to bring Brynne back today at Creighton. Tougher still, thinkin' about a tough serious at Ill. State this weekend. Hope she doesn't wear out.
UNI is leading MVC baseball. That's just crazy. Something to add to the "cold weather" discussion. Creighton certainly does pretty well, both baseball and softball. |
