| I've posted this several times before, but this time I'm going to post it as it's own subject, and "sticky" it at the top of the board.
Here is how to post a live link. In the example, I am going to link to this message board.
1. Click the Hyperlink icon.
2. Paste or type the URL for the link in the box that opens up when you click the hyperlink icon.
3. Click 'OK'.
4. You will now have something that looks like this:
[url=http://www.drakenation.com][/url]
The cursor will be between the first ending bracket ] and the second start bracket [
Without moving the cursor, type in whatever you want your live link to read...in this example, I'll type in "Drakenation". You must type in something there to get a live link.
5. After you've typed your live link title, move the cursor to the right of the [/url] and continue typing.

| Here is an alternate method that uses an image as the live link. In the example, I am going to link to this message board.
1. Click the Insert Image icon above.
2. Paste or type the URL for the image in the box that opens.
3. Click 'OK'.
4. You will now have something that looks like this:
[img=http://www.drakenation.com/Uploads/Avatars/9140c3fb-d15e-4917-925b-0322.jpg[/img]
5. Highlight the entire image tag by triple-clicking on it.
6. Click the Hyperlink icon above.
7. Paste or type the URL for the link in the box that opens up.
8. Click 'OK'.
9. You will now have a a longer string of code that includes the image link above and the live link to the page.
10. Move the cursor to the right of the [/url] and continue typing.

I don't think this board's software will allow uploading pics....you can only link them from elsewhere on the Internet. |

| This is probably a very simple thing to do, but I have yet to figure it out.
How do you place an attachment/photo/graphics with the text that I'm am now posting so it can be viewed?

| | When you're typing your post, you should see several icons above the space where you're typing. One of those icons looks like a postcard....click that icon, then type in the URL of the picture that you want to appear in your post, and click 'ok'. That's all there is to it. |
