hoopmasters.com the ultimate authority in college basketball recruiting Must admit they are definitely a step ahead of Iowa Preps & Rivals.

Congrats to Coach Phelps!

Unfortunately, we have some guys who should have never gotten a scholly. I don't think Keno is going to tolerate that.

Eaddy and Worner had better find their game. Prez Maxwell softening his anti runoff stance?

Congrats to Coach Phelps!

Good luck Keno! Thanks for a GREAT year!

If there are more offers than seemingly available scholarships, I don't think it means that someone has to be leaving prematurely. It could be that a junior who red-shirted has decided not to stick around for the fifth year. I don't know anything, I'm just offering possibilities.

Here's an address for a local news video on a Sioux Falls station regarding Jared Vlastuin:

http://www.keloland.com/netcast/

Go to the 10:00 news, August 27th, almost half way through the video, just after Twins "highlights" and SDSU volleyball.

Definitely looks athletic.

I couldn't keep a good connection with the website, so I was getting only a few seconds of video at a time....at the very end, did they say he was planning to redshirt his freshman season?

I think that is what he said, but my guess is the sports guy got that wrong. I don't know, but I've never heard that anywhere else, so I have to wonder about the accuracy of that statement.

Just a note that two of Vlastuin's AAU teammates have committed to D1 schools, and another is expected to do so.
White River's Louie Krogman, who is 173 points away from breaking the all-time South Dakota high school basketball scoring record, said Monday he has verbally committed to play basketball for the University of South Dakota...

Louie spent the summer playing for the South Dakota Heat, a traveling team that went 30-8 and included Yankton's Colton Iverson, committed to the University of Minnesota, Jared Vlastuin of Lennox, who has committed to Drake, and Cody Schilling of Ellsworth, Minn., a highly sought player who has yet to commit.
I'm pretty sure that USD is still a D-2 school. SDSU is D-1.
