McB, you beat me to it with the same info....

Lennox is close to Sioux Falls.

Can't find a lot of info on this young man....found a story that shows he's a helluva golfer too.

Found a message board post that said if he can develop a consistent game from 10-12 feet, he could be a D-1 player.

Not sure what to think about this one.

This is the 3rd commitment we've heard about.....not counting Wendell Faines....and we only have 2 scholarships available.

Something's gotta give.

This is getting weird. I like seeing guys commit to Drake long before the signing period, but not when four guys say they're coming to Drake with only two scholarships set to open. If Weldon walks on like the original rumor said, and if Drake isn't expecting Faines to come (right now), then they're within the scholarship limit. I don't see mention of scholarships in these stories; is it possible some of these guys are committing to be walk ons?

SDHoops....I assume you've seen Vlastuin play....what can you tell us about his game?

Mecha....I'm with you....I'm wondering if a couple of these guys are planning to walk-on their first year with the promise of a scholarship down the road.

He won the state championship (small schools) in the long jump, and as a sophomore, he was 3rd in state in the high jump......so he must be a decent athlete.

Nice job, Drake! You just got the most athletic kid from the South Dakota Heat team that is likely to produce 4 D1 players for 2008/2009. Vlastuin is a senior in high school for 07/08.

6'5"/6'6" but plays bigger because he jumps really well. Long, lean, and really athletic. I wouldn't worry about the post about the 10-12 footer, not a problem.

No way you got him as a walk on. Has to be a scholarship. Other schools were interested, I'm sure.
