This team seems in some respects to be similar to just after the 'program review'. Immediately after that fiasco the offense really took a couple of years to rebuild (between guys that left and the year of recruiting that was substantially lost). D was tough and kept them in games, but building the offense took a couple of years.<br><br>Creighton is implementing a new offense, takes time to teach it and recruit the guys who will run it. Defense seems to gel more quickly in general and was pretty tough this year.
