Retherford was on the senior day list, indicating he won't be back. Ingle may be back for a fifth year. The Bulldogs need someone talented in the pipeline who can redshirt in '08.

Football Gameplan Predictions

http://www.footballgameplan.com/fcs-division-i-aa-predictions

We wont lose to Dayton!!!!

Morehead State 33, Drake 0

What happened to Drake since the Illinois State win, and what can the Bulldogs do to turn it around?

Include answers in cover letter. Oops, just kidding about Minnesota.

At one time, UNI did ditch the disintegrating North Central Conference in favor of bigger and better athletics.

A conference including the first six schools mentioned above, with two others thrown in from somwhere, appears reasonable enough. And, the first five were at one time members of the NCC and there's the potential renewing of the rivalry thing.

UNI and Drake are locked into Missouri Valley Conference Division I basketball, but the two football conferences in which they participate are just...OK.

The annual Drake-Davidson clash doesn't really get the old ticker, going, for instance. And, it wasn't all that long ago that USD and Drake met in football. SDSU and Cal Poly doesn't exactly get the old blood boiling, either.

Thing is, Nebraska-Omaha needs to make the switch to I-AA in football and Division I in basketball and you're well on your way to a neat little highly competitive athletic association that would seem, above all else, more financially feasible.[/quote]

Drake would have some scholarship issues in that league. As it is, that's a good list of teams for Drake to look at for non-conference games.

Possible 2008 PFL Division

Drake
Morehead State
Jacksonville
Campbell (new program)
Davidson
Iona

If this happens, it will be because the others in the PFL (anticipating Detroit Mercy joining their division in a couple years) pulled a power play.

On the bright side, this alignment might allow the Bulldogs to be in the championship game a lot.

Thoughts?

Football Gameplan's Weekly Prediction

http://www.footballgameplan.com/fcs-division-i-aa-predictions

Hey...I like our Prediction

How much does a charter cost compared to regular air fare

we need to travel smarter

Who Will Be Head Coach Next Year

My prediction on f/t coaches next year:

Randy Ball--HC
Matt Jeter--DC
Andy Ball--OC & offensive line
Rickey Hunley--DBs & recruiting coordinator
