I thought it was interesting how there's an article, written by Perrault, questioning someone else's professionalism. Is there anyone who shows less professionalism on a consistent basis than he does? Does he seriously consider arguing with Drake fans on this message board professional. Taking tickets from Drake for his radio show in one hand and then using the other to badmouth their promotion, is that professional? It'd be funny if you thought he was trying to be comical, now it's just sad.

Anyway, good game on Saturday. I was actually pretty happy with how Creighton played. I thought they'd get smoked after that start.

It's nothing more than a pattern for dufus. He creates controversy in order to gain free publicity. He is trying to do the same thing here as he did in Omaha. He thinks he is clever when in reality he is just a shallow nimwit.link Ken Miller is the guy who should be careful. It could be devastating to his career to be a co-host with dufus. Did anyone see dufus at the game last night? I know a group of people that were looking for him to say hello and he couldn't be found. I doubt the guy was even there.

Pre-game I was walking around the floor looking for the guy. I can't imagine he used his press pass to sit in the corners where the Creighton fans were. I think Budget Cut bailed on the game and did a no-show.

Perrault, get over it. Your team lost and blaming it on the announcer makes you look like you are truly desperate. It's a college basketball game. I for one like our announcer. The first few games, he was the only positive voice in the place. He's enthusiastic but hardly over the top. If you want to see over the top. Go to the Qwest Center.

Anybody watch the WSU@SIU game last night on ESPNU? SIU's PA announcer was at least as vocal as DU's PA announcer. P'errault had better get more premium content ready for CU's trip to Carbondale.

Yep, Drake's PA announcer is the lead story on thebluejaycafe. Perrault is complaining that the PA guy is more enthusiastic than he's supposed to be, based on the MVC handbook.

What a bunch of sour grapes. It's like he's saying "there's no possible way we could lose to Drake unless there was cheating involved". Seriously, does anybody really think the players (on either team) even notice the PA announcer?

Has any Drake fan biatched about Dana having a ref. in the huddle for every time out? ... or him spending approx. 90% of the game 3 - 5 feet out on the court? Has any Drake fan pointed out that when the opposing team at the Qwest Center has the ball on offense the circle light that goes around the stadium flashes 24 bright different colors? ... or when the opposing team is shooting free throws, CU makes sure the circle light flashes in order to distract the shooter? I don't remember any Drake fan complaining about that. I would certainly hope Coach Altman would put a kabosh on Perrault ... maybe not? The guy is an embarrassment to the Creighton community and the league as a whole. All he is doing is trying line his pockets while making Creighton look bad.

Hey San Fran, I'm not Catholic either. I can't take credit for the Karma ... DawgTired sacrificed an entire off season in the Himalayas at a monestery with Tibetan Monks in order to bring us Karma. But I do believe at this point it's DU's Karma and not just one individual.

HHHMMMMMMMM..... let's all meditate toghether this early morning. ... hhhhHHHHHMMMMMMMMMM.

If you talk with the die hard Blue Jay fans ... I mean the ones that were going to games before the Qwest Center and the commercialization from honk'n hades ... they'd like to see the entire program flipped, top to bottom. Not happy days in the Creighton basketball world.

I listened to the game on the Creighton station out of Omaha. I wanted to hear how opposing teams home stations treated Drake and Des Moines. Everything was OK (not great) until the Bulldogs went up after the 58 -58 tie.

After that the announcers could not have sounded worse.... they dished the Knapp center, Drake Attendance, academics at Drake, location of the campus. Given how they treated Drake you would have thought Creighton was Harvard sitting on the sands of Waikiki. Very unprofessional.

I have done this in the past (listened to the opposing teams home station) and NEVER heard such whinnning. All other stations in the Valley that I have listened too (OK just WSU and Bradley) were clearly rooting for their teams but never really went after Drake.

Creighton fans are unlike any others in The Valley. I honestly believe they think they are too good to be playing we to be in the MVC and look longingly beyond its borders. But hey ..... where the hell are they going to go... The Big XII? They might want to get ANY football team first.

BTW -- two years ago just as the 'Dogs were going on a tear I started a a trip to Australia and Asia. I listened to games over the internet in time zones 9 - 12 hours away.

Tomorrow I leave on a similar trip. My biggest hope is that DU recreates Mc's Karma.

So I will help him out with my prediction.

I always laugh when he does the pre-game welcome.. "Welcome to the Knapp Center, tonight's game featuring [visiting team, soft voice--Creighton was almost a whisper!] and *your own Drake Bulldogs* [said loud and proud!]!"

I've been bitching about our PA guy for a few years. Seriously, you all think he is doing a great job? Really? How long has deafness been a problem here?

C'mon folks, admit it, he stinks. (don't take it too personal, it just could be so much better. Maybe it's SHC/Drake that puts the creative hold on him and not him personally. I don't care which...it just plain sucks)

He went on to say that he has heard from reliable sources that dufus posts under numerous screen names on BJC ... trying to make it appear that more people are on the site.
