The word for both sound really similar so I'm just curious how he can avergge 10.6 for the rest of the way in one but 4.4 in the other......Sorry, I'm an idiot...
Three things.1. You're not an idiot.2. The 4.4 number is wrong3. The way Mecha posts these confuses me every time I read it, too. But, here's what I think he's saying.....He needs to average 10.6 points per game for the whole season (including games already played) to break the record......and he needs to average 8 points per game (not the 4.4 in the original post) the rest of the way to break it.Hope that makes sense.
So this is where l ask or do l dare "Did Mecha graduate from Drake" [/quote]

I think Mecha's "real world experience" may have been a factor here!

RE: Josh-O-Meter

DUBulldog (1/20/2010)

Fro (1/20/2010)
Mecha_Bulldog (1/20/2010)
....Young needs to average at least 10.6 ppg for the season and play in every remaining game to become Drake's all-time scoring leader.........Young needs to average at least 4.4 ppg in Drake's remaining games to becomes Drake's all-time scoring leader.
I'm just going to nut up and ask this question... Tell him if he doesn't start shooting better than 50% at the end of a game from the line, he won't be listed in any record books for Drake. hehe

I don't understand how such a pure shooter can all of a sudden get the jitters and start clanking free throws....Oh well, at least he's awesome from everywhere else!! Then think about all the people hanging and banging on him. Tired legs and beat up body. Experience tells me that he needs to take abit more time at the line and then focus. The other thing l have noticed is that he always throws the ball up and spins it and then shoots. Early in his career he would pause before he shot now he is catching and shooting. Just an observation here so check it out when he shoots. l haven't been at any games but that is what l noticed on the net if the stream is good. l still can't believe AT, RW, and JY can even run up the floor and the end due to their minutes and energy output.

RE: Josh-O-Meter

I think we should give JY some motivation for free throws here. I got in a hurry this morning while I was waiting for the ice to thaw a little bit. I added the 10.6 ppg number early in the season when his scoring pace was below what was needed to break the record. Now that it looks almost certain that he'll break the record, I should probably just take that part out.
