Tinsley was not a Floyd recruit, he was Eustacy's.
The JC kid was Jacy Halloway out of Kansas.

I can assure you Jamal Tinsley did not graduate. I don't think he even graduated from high school.

I'm pretty sure Paul Shirley graduated but that might have been the year after Floyd left and Shirley wasn't on athletic scholarship.

Shirley had some interesting things to say about Fizer and Tinsley in his book.

Jacey holloway, that's the guy. I think he was the only player to grauate during Floyds tenure.

Are you thinking of Jacy Holloway....real skinny guard from small town in Kansas? Wasn't it under Tim Floyd's watch that Jamaal Tinsley (allegedly) stayed eligible through his senior season despite not attending any classes?

I think the cheating finally caught up with him. Never proven, but I'd always suspected him of being "dirty", all the way back to his Iowa State days.
