Don't know the new regime's approach, but the old one expected WF to go to a JC and then look at him in another year. Eligibility was always the issue, not whether they wanted him.

Faines didn't make the NCAA minimums. Won't be at Drake.

I have no idea if this means anything, but College Hoops Update seems to be saying that Faines has signed a LOI to Drake for 2008-09.

I wouldn't read anything too much into a message board post from two months ago.

If Faines is coming, then the question is, who's leaving? Drake is at 13 scholarship players, not counting Faines.

I am not sure who this character is, but he has apparently been "told" that Faines probably won't come to Drake, but might change his mind later in the summer:
