| Nick scored 16 points in the first game, going 8 from 8 from the field.
Tony Freeman from Iowa is visiting SIU today, do not be surprised if he announces that he is transferring to Southern, who with the recent signing of all-stater Ryan Hare, is going to be "guard rich".
Bocot, Dillard, Hare, and Roundtree are all the real deal.

Best of luck with Freeman, just make him captain when hes elligible and then don't expect him to listen to the coach and you all will be thrilled you signed him.
LOL

| It will be interesting to see whether Tony F. can be more of a Tony Young type player or .... a Tony Freeman type player.
I don't get the taking on a guy for one year.

| | I really hope that cgdcreek is right and I am wrong in our argument about Tony Freeman in a different thread. However, with the addition of all of the good freshmen and Freeman in 2 years, I think it is going to be very tough for Drake to finish ahead of the Salukis. |

| Looong ways to go on judging whether these new guys will be good at SIU, and whether Tony F. will fit in.
I'd bet on Josh Young and Josh Parker.

SI
What's with Lowery having not much in between Mullins/Clemmons/Boyle and a big bunch of freshmen? Lots of redshirts? Apparently at least one (Bocot) needed to work on some grades.
No official acknowledgment on Tony Freeman yet, apparently.
