They took over a month and most of the spring signing period to name a coach. That says a lot about where wbb is in their priorities.

| Rice is not exactly a women's basketball powerhouse. Still, Murphy has had some success at other levels. It
will be interesting to see what she does at Evansville.
The press release pays a good bit of attention to community relations. Sounds to me like they wanted a good will ambassador as much as they wanted a basketball coach.
