| Words are inadequate to truly thank the 3 of you for what you have done for Bulldog Basketball. Next fall you will be sorely missed, but fondly remembered. Your imprint on Bulldog Basketball will long outlive your careers. You've left your names in the record books, but also have set the example and helped to form the players that will follow you.
You have excelled as students, athletes and competitors. You set a standard for conduct on and off the court that makes us fans proud to call ourselves Bulldogs. You came into a program in transition that was struggling, you persevered through adversity and have left a program better than when you arrived. Well done!

| Well said. Thanks BlueDawg! These women are great role models and I know they will do well in their chosen paths beyond Drake University.

| | The only reason I didn't say more toward the end of Monday's broadcast is I want to reserve my crying for the women's banquet. I love them as basketball players. They're better people than basketball players. |

For everyone's information: You cannot listen to an am station when sitting in your seat at Wells fargo. There were lots of radios around the perimeter by the windows by the concession stands of Drake fans listening. I found a group with 38 seconds left and listened second hand to a fan passing on the game play. I was trying to find Grandpa since he was listening, but I found other fans first and didn't want to miss the end of the game.
