| Drake beat Indiana State 65-59. The game was close throughout, and Drake led by 1 with 5 minutes left. They used strong defense and good free throw shooting down the stretch to open up a double-digit lead, and hit enough free throws to hold on for the win. Drake plays Evansville tomorrow at 3:30, and the game will be televised on Fox Sports.

| Drake has a great crowd and we're having lots of fun. The game last night was a higher tempo than we would have liked, but the women are strong and I am ready for a great game today!
